As the world’s first and leading digital asset index provider, authorized and regulated by the UK FCA, CF Benchmarks was created in 2016 to address the crypto market's need for reliable, robust, and replicable pricing benchmarks and cryptocurrency data.

CF Benchmarks works with some of the most respected and innovative financial institutions by providing market tested reference rates and indices that power regulated financial products including listed derivatives, investment funds, and structured products from the world's leading firms.

As 2024 was a big year for CFB with the approval of major crypto ETFs like BTC and ETH ETFs, CFB required a deeper look into their brand in order to recruit new audiences while retaining their devoted customers. Working across product, marketing, research, and design, I led the conceptual rebrand work in elevating the next phase of the brand evolution.

The updated workmark shifts CFB’s primary logo to a serif typeface which provides distinction with CFB’s parent brand, Kraken. An updated teal color brings a new level of sophistication that alligns CFB with their institutional clients partners.



CF Benchmarks’ goal is to provide trusted cryptocurrency data for its various institutional partners. The backbone of the concept uses a frosted glass-like effect to evoke CFB’s brand vision of being a transparent and trusted indicies provider. This replicable process in creating graphics and imagery for various brand applications, similarly to CFB’s replicable data creation process, can be used to highlight CFB’s unique visual style.
