	Started in 2013 by Chad and Michelle Westbrook Hinds, Iruai Winery (”ear-oo-eye”) operates from the mythical Shasta-Cascade Mountains of Siskiyou County. A unique wine region that feels like a cross between Switzerland’s dense alpine forests and Montana’s high mountain prairies, Iruai aims to produce wines that reflect the esoteric grape varieties that flourish in the Alps.&#38;nbsp;
This rebrand shepherds Iruai’s next evolution by emphasizing the commitment and devotion to the land and the natural winemaking processes where wines are naturally developed with nothing added and nothing taken away.&#38;nbsp;

	Building out a system where future labels can be easily produced, 20th century botanical illustrations of the surrounding Shasta-Cascade region’s plants are used to highlight tasting notes within each wine variety and the importance of maintaining the natural terroir through Iruai’s permaculture and planting methods.&#38;nbsp;

	Building on Iruai’s influence of mysticism and naturalism, the back label is designed like a tarot card, where a system of tarot symbols highlights each label’s unique characteristics.&#38;nbsp;

	Scope:Branding
	The Maryland Theatre Collective, a non-profit organization serving the Greater Baltimore region and surrounding areas, was born out of the merging of The Heritage Players, Inc. (founded in 1975) and The Baltimore Theatre Collective (founded in 2012). MTC strives to entertain, educate, and enliven theatrical communities through high quality performances and experiences.&#38;nbsp;
This rebrand concept, created in collaboration with MTC, combines these historic theatre identities by celebrating the use of light, both literally in productions and metaphorically in illuminating untold stories. The triangular motif, a symbol for the extreme and dramatic forms in which light takes shape, is the backbone to the visual identity system. With it, MTC becomes a spotlight through which untold stories can be brought to life.

	The Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin is one of the foremost university art museums in the country and has the largest and most comprehensive collection of art in Central Texas. The Blanton’s permanent collection of more than 19,000 works is recognized for its European paintings, an encyclopedic collection of prints and drawings, and modern and contemporary American and Latin American art.
As a university museum with a visitorship of more than 60% students, youth, and school groups, the institution must prioritize finding ways to engage with younger audiences. This hypothetical rebrand incorporates arches used in the museum's recognizable Ellsworth Kelly chapel and surrounding Spanish Revival campus architecture into an adaptive and modern mark.

	The backbone of the identity is based on the architectural features in the museum and the surrounding university campus. With the new grounds initiative designed by
Snøhetta and scheduled for completion in 2023, this framework acts as a graphic system that supports the Blanton story by integrating the use of arches throughout the exterior colonnade, Kelly chapel, and Snøhetta design plans.&#38;nbsp;

	Glenstone is a private contemporary art museum in Potomac, Maryland, 15 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. The museum's exhibitions are drawn from a collection of about 1,300 works from post–World War II artists around the world. Its largest expansion was opened to the public on October 4, 2018, with outdoor sculpture installations, landscaping, and the introduction of a new museum complex called the Pavilions designed by Thomas Phifer. The goal of the rebrand is to build a visual identity that integrates art and architecture into a recognizable and modern mark.

	The Pavilions are clad with 25,000 concrete blocks in total, each individually poured to measure six-feet long by one-foot high and one-foot deep. They weigh several hundred pounds apiece and are dry stacked in a running bond pattern with meticulous 1/4-inch joints and precisely interwoven corners.

We are drawn to experiences that provide multi-sensory stimulation and exhilaration, a truth that plays into every facet of our lives. These moments of significance, whether it’s tasting something new, hearing a new song, or meeting a new friend, define one of the most successful music and arts festivals in America. 
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. As a growing enterprise with increasing yearly attendance and revenue, an identity that celebrates place, as well as people, is needed. This rebrand sets out to refresh and modernize a 20+ year festival by looking at people’s memories of the festival and the means by which they remember those experiences through their senses.

Who Runs the Art World

	What should the future of museums look like?

	
	Scope:
Data Visualization Motion Graphics


	In 2019, a Google spreadsheet titled “Art/Museum Salary Transparency” began circulating throughout the art world, asking employees to add their salaries to help provide wage transparency. By 2020, more than 3,300 people had shared theirs. Originally intended to provide members in the museum/art world with a resource to fight for wage transparency, this document ultimately revealed the pay inequality between leadership and staff positions. The coronavirus pandemic further exposed this pay gap by forcing museums to fire numerous staff members while their directors took minimal pay cuts.&#38;nbsp;
This project examines 30 museum executives in the New York City area in the hope of highlighting broader injustices within the art world.

	Utilizing the idea of wage transparency, a system of business cards was designed to visualize museum executives’ salaries. The increased radiating circle motif correlates directly to their annual salaries.&#38;nbsp;
